Healthy recipes for brownies, cookies, or cakes?
aimezmoixo23 asked:
I was just wondering if anyone had any recipes for brownies, cookies, cakes, ect. I know that sometimes you can substitute things, but I forgot what they were. Im having a halloween party this weekend so I need to have plenty of sweets, so I thought I would keep it somewhat healthy too ;]

try loking up a diabetic cooking site online or an alternative health site for ideas, you can use applesauce to bake cakes but I don’t know how.
Splenda causes cancer and a bunch of other health problems, nutrasweet too. if a fly or rat won’t touch it,then neither should you!

check out
This is a great site, there are numerous recipes, savoury as well as sweet. The recipes are designed for diabetics, low sodium, low cholesterol, and low fat. They taste great, the ones I have tried.
There is a recipe there for a some choc cakes (mud and ordinary), and choc slice, as well as numerous other things
Hope this helps

Try replacing the oil with applesauce, never personally tried it but have seen it in recipes before.
