What are your favorite healthy recipes and most used recipe websites?
markdief86 asked:
I’ve asked this question before, and got few responses. So what I’m looking for is people that actually use recipes and/or websites with recipes on them that are healthy. I’m not looking for answers such as “google it” or “look up healthy recipes” because that’s not what I’m looking for. I want examples like “www.allrecipes.com and www.joyofcooking.com - healthy recipes, variety of food, meal plans” If you don’t mind a short description of the site will be helpful!

Here is a site that is wonderful. I put it on the page where you can check off low cal, low carb, diabetic friendly, low sodium, ETC.

I try a lot of recipes from Rachael Ray — they’re quick and easy to make, and use fresh ingredients. She has a few websites, listed below. On the websites you can choose healthier foods as an option. Search in the “Yum-O” section for family-friendly ideas. Her website sometimes has video of making the food, which helps!
I also search for recipes on the Food Network’s website, since I used to watch the channel a lot. Rachael Ray has good recipes, and Emeril’s recipes are always tasty. Paula Deen’s recipes are good as well. The recipes have indicators as to the difficulty level, as well as ratings by users. They also usually have pictures of the finished product.
